The Project


   AUDIAL EPISTLES (Æ) can be many things: a self-indulgent project, a lazy attempt at a book, a (not-so) show of uniqueness in music taste. Above all things, Æ is a letter from me to you. This is a piece of my heart in your hands; keep it safe and keep it close to yours.

   This first Æ, ACCEPT MY OFFERING, dives deep into the undiscussed phenomenon that is idolatry in romantic relationships. The mixtape is generally a mellow, acoustic-heavy one. It is split into two sides that, lyrically, bring the listener along an emotional narrative: while the invisible main character starts with a seemingly honest crush, these feelings quickly spiral into obsession, desperation, and masochistic submission.






   ACCEPT MY OFFERING is a letter penned to address questions from the darker corners of love and attachment:

When do the lines between admiration and blind adoration begin to blur?

Can unconditional devotion be synonymous with one-sided attraction?

What happens when an offering of love is not accepted?



   The cassette zine was first released for sale at the Taipei Art Book Fair 2024 and has since become a permanent Yna Haus product, following me around to different art markets, including The Workshop Market and Maker Markets...! Below is a well-deserved promotional video for her, mographed by my talented sister.
